FREIGHTLEAK FORENSICS TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE By installing, activating, or using FreightLeak Forensics, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Support and Updates Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software. 2. LICENSE GRANT After purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased version of FreightLeak Forensics on the number of machines allowed by your purchased tier. "Lifetime" means the software license does not expire by time while the software remains technically usable on your device and your license remains valid. 3. WHAT LIFETIME DOES NOT MEAN Lifetime license does not mean lifetime support, unlimited support, free custom development, guaranteed compatibility with future Windows/macOS releases, guaranteed carrier-format updates forever, guaranteed rule updates forever, guaranteed dispute success, managed refund filing, consulting, bookkeeping, legal advice, or done-for-you invoice review. Those services are not included unless a separate written agreement says so. 4. PERMITTED USE You may use the software to audit your own carrier billing exports or exports for clients you are authorized to represent. You are responsible for having the right to process the data you load into the software. 5. PROHIBITED USE You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, resell, reverse engineer, bypass license controls, remove proprietary notices, use the software to violate carrier terms or law, or use one license beyond its machine or tier limits. 6. AUDIT OUTPUT IS RECOMMENDATIONAL The software identifies potentially disputable billing lines based on rules, heuristics, public datasets, and the data contained in your CSV. Audit results, PDFs, dispute letters, deadlines, and recoverable amounts are recommendations only. Carriers have sole discretion over refunds, credits, deadlines, and denial reasons. You must verify flagged items before filing disputes. 7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES You are responsible for exporting the correct carrier report, mapping columns accurately, reviewing output, filing disputes on time, keeping backups of your files, complying with privacy and carrier obligations, and deciding whether any claim is valid. 8. UPDATES The seller may release updates at its discretion. Minor fixes may be free, but the seller is not obligated to maintain carrier rules, CSV templates, dispute logic, operating-system compatibility, or third-party dependencies forever. Major upgrades, premium rule packs, managed support, or automation may be sold separately. 9. SUPPORT Support is limited to reasonable installation, activation, and reproducible bug questions during the support period described in the Support and Updates Policy. Support does not include auditing invoices for you, handling carrier disputes, training your team, custom integrations, custom reports, or emergency response. 10. NO WARRANTY The software is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties are disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and compatibility. 11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, lost-refund, business-interruption, or carrier-denial damages. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the software in the 12 months before the claim arose. 12. TERMINATION The license may be suspended or terminated if you breach these Terms, request a refund, initiate fraud, reverse engineer the app, exceed activation limits, or misuse the software. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the app. 13. CHANGES Future app versions may require acceptance of updated legal terms. If you do not accept updated terms, you may continue using the last version you accepted only to the extent it remains technically functional and your license remains valid.
