FREIGHTLEAK FORENSICS PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: April 25, 2026
1. LOCAL INVOICE PROCESSING
FreightLeak Forensics is a desktop application. Carrier billing CSV files,
tracking numbers, customer names, addresses, shipment details, and audit results
are processed locally on your computer. FreightLeak does not upload, receive,
store, sell, rent, or analyze your invoice contents.
2. LICENSE VALIDATION DATA
When you activate, validate, or deactivate a license, the app contacts Dodo
Payments license endpoints. Those requests may include your license key, license
instance id, machine fingerprint/name, timestamp, and license status. They do not
include invoice files, tracking numbers, addresses, charges, or audit results.
3. LOCAL FILES
The app may store an encrypted license file and local column-mapping preferences
on your device so you do not have to remap the same CSV format every month. Legal
acceptance is also stored locally as a small JSON file containing the accepted
document version and timestamp.
4. OPTIONAL SUPPORT INFORMATION
If you email support, you choose what to send. Do not send invoice files or
customer personal data unless you have the right to share them. If you do send
sample data for debugging, you are responsible for removing or masking sensitive
information first.
5. THIRD PARTIES
Dodo Payments handles payment processing and license management. Email or file
hosting providers may deliver purchase emails, download links, or support
messages. FreightLeak does not use in-app analytics, telemetry, ad pixels, or
background invoice uploads.
6. DATA RETENTION
License records are retained as needed to operate the license. Support emails are
retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, fraud prevention, tax, or
legal records.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request deletion of personal information held by the seller, subject to
legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction-record obligations. Local files on
your computer can be removed by uninstalling the app and deleting its application
data folder.
8. IMPORTANT LIMIT
This policy explains how the app is designed to handle data. Your own use of
carrier exports may be subject to carrier terms, privacy laws, and duties to your
customers or clients. You are responsible for using the app lawfully.
